Food safety central to World Veterinary Day theme

The World Veterinary Association (WVA) will highlight the importance of food safety as part of World Veterinary Day in April. Selected by the WVA Council, the 2026 theme “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health” shows the critical role veterinarians play in safeguarding food safety, public health, and animal
