"textContent": "Hello! **Big** announcement today.\n\nCongratulations to**Antonella _\"Tony\"_ Peterson** for completing her Master of Public Health (MPH) at the Yale School of Public Health, focusing on health informatics! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰\n\nAntonella and the fam enjoying graduation weekend in New Haven\n\nBut this is bittersweet, because it also means that Tony will no longer be an OPI Research Assistant. 😭😭😭\n\nAs y'all know, Tony has contributed _tremendously_ to the OPI mission since she started her capstone work in Fall 2025.\n\nYou have seen her lead webinars about the F.I.T. Test (check it!), author numerous newsletters about opioid settlement Waste, Fraud, Abuse, and Mismanagement (WFAM), co-author the Unallowable Spending whitepaper, and lead the development of the opioid settlement WFAM Policy Briefs. And that is just the public-facing work!\n\nAll of this was done while balancing MPH coursework, mentoring, and her full-time job as an Army captain at Ft. Riley, where she took command of Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH) Medical Company this January.\n\nWe know big things are in store for whatever you decide to take on next!\n\n## New Hires\n\nResearch thrives on collaboration, and we’re excited to grow the OPI team with Antonella β€œTony” Peterson, MPH, who starts in June as our newest **_OPI Research Associate!_**\n\nTony, formerly an OPI Research Assistant, will continue to lead our work on WFAM Policy Briefs (we have a bunch more coming out soon!), the WFAM newsletter, and some fun _new_ projects we have been cooking up...\n\nNB, Tony will be staying on full-time in her command position at Ft. Riley, so we're thrilled that she has decided to lend her leisure time to advancing this work.\n\nWelcome, Tony!\n\nβ˜• Buy Tony a Coffee\n\n## Support Us\n\nWatchdog Research and Advocacy Work\n\nContribute ❀️\n\nOpioid Policy Institute by Jonathan JK Stoltman, PhD is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0",
