Broadband Breakfast will be also be on the ground all week, with three live editions of Broadband Breakfast Live Online on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET.

These events, which are freely available to all in Broadband Community, paid and free, will feature state broadband office veterans, ISP operators, equipment vendors, and policy voices. Expect video interviews, panel coverage, and reporting on the deployment, financing, and competitive questions actually being argued on the show floor.

Josh Summit directs outside plant engineering for Glo Fiber, a subsidiary of Shentel Telecommunications that has passed more than 400,000 households with high-speed fiber across seven states in the eastern United States since launching in 2019. In his role, he oversees the engineering, architecture, design, and permitting for all fiber deployments across the network. Summit has worked in telecommunications engineering since 2013, accumulating experience across nearly every U.S. state and multiple countries, and currently serves on the Information Technology Committee of the Fiber Broadband Association.

Brian Allenby serves as Director of State Solutions at CostQuest Associates, where he supports states, ISPs and other stakeholders as they navigate broadband planning, mapping, and BEAD implementation. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the Maine Connectivity Authority, where he oversaw last-mile broadband infrastructure programs, grant administration, finance, and communications related to the state’s progress toward universal connectivity. Allenby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government from American University.

Brian Mitchell is a Principal Consultant at ITG Communications where he provides clients with strategic, technical, and regulatory advisory services. As the former Director of the Nevada State Broadband Office, Brian has extensive experience in the telecommunications and broadband sector, with a strong focus on navigating government funding and grant programs, and planning, deploying, and optimizing broadband infrastructure initiatives. During his time in Nevada, Brian served as an appointed cabinet official and senior advisor to three consecutive Nevada Governors of both parties while overseeing the High Speed Nevada Initiative – a $900 million broadband infrastructure program combining BEAD, CPF, SLFRF, NTIA Middle Mile, and State funding.

Steve Kalomas leads business development for Lumen Technologies' infrastructure practice serving state, local, and education clients, bringing more than 25 years of experience spanning complex network design, security infrastructure, and managed services. Before moving into his current role, he held operations and service delivery leadership positions that gave him firsthand insight into the technology challenges facing public sector institutions. Infrastructure modernization and broadband expansion are his central focus.

James King is a Solutions Engineer at Millennium Broadband Solutions, where he works with regional and local clients to navigate the engineering, funding, and deployment challenges shaping today's fiber buildouts, including BEAD and ReConnect requirements. His background spans both engineering and business development, giving him a grounded understanding of fiber infrastructure from middle mile to FTTH. King is based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Breakfast Media LLC CEO Drew Clark has led the Broadband Breakfast community since 2008. An early proponent of better broadband, better lives, he initially founded the Broadband Census crowdsourcing tool to collect and verify broadband data left unpublished by the Federal Communications Commission. As CEO and Publisher, Clark presides over the leading media community advocating for higher-capacity internet everywhere through topical, timely and intelligent coverage. Clark also served as head of the Partnership for a Connected Illinois, a state broadband initiative.
