At the first operational meeting of his cabinet, Prime Minister Rumen Radev set an extensive agenda focused on inflation control, institutional reform, and economic restructuring, describing the priorities as urgent and interconnected.
He opened the session by stressing the need for immediate action against rising prices, particularly for basic food goods. “The challenges before us are clear, and so are the main priorities - we must do everything possible to break the trend of rising prices, especially for essential food products,” he said, adding that coordinated efforts across ministries would be required.
