The Consumer Protection Commission (CPCo) has identified unjustified price increases in 561 goods across Bulgaria, following a series of inspections linked to the euro changeover process. Authorities say nearly 9,000 inspections have been conducted so far, with 863 violation reports issued, meaning an estimated 10% non-compliance rate.
