All of these upcoming OSes will most likely drop support for many models, and the expected list is longer than last year's list.\n\nApple's iPhone 11 Pro. Source: Apple\n\n9to5Mac recently shared information about a post from a Weibo source, detailing the list of iPhone models that may drop support in iOS 27:\n\n> **iPhones that might not support iOS 27**\n>\n> * iPhone 11 Pro Max\n> * iPhone 11 Pro\n> * iPhone 11\n> * iPhone SE (2nd generation)\n>\n\n\n9to5Mac also goes on to list possible Macs and iPads that may lose support in updates:\n\n> **iPads that might not support iPadOS 27**\n>\n> * iPad (8th generation)\n> * iPad Air 3\n> * iPad mini 5\n>\n\n>\n> **Macs that will not support macOS 27**\n>\n> * MacBook Pro (16‑inch, 2019)\n> * MacBook Pro (13‑inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)\n> * iMac (2020)\n> * Mac Pro (2019)\n>\n\n\nWhile these lists are not final, they do reflect the most probable changes to software support from Apple. In recent years, it has become clear that Apple's narrative is to get people off of Intel Macs and onto Apple silicon, so they don't have to continue software updates. The other notable change is that it is essentially getting rid of all pre-2019 models, and all supported models may either be released in 2020 or after.\n\nThis still is sad to see, as many of the most popular models, like iPhone 11, are losing support. But, it does make sense, as Apple has to end support at some point for older devices.\n\nApple's new OS updates may bring big changes to software support, with many models possibly losing support in each of the upcoming OS 27 upgrades. We will have to wait and see what Apple does soon.",
