Daylight Rising

So often, one weaving project sparks the idea for the next. As I was working on Darkness Falling, it felt like the sky was collapsing in on the light source. For the following piece I imagined what would happen if the light was pressing out against the sky.

17 ½" wide x 33 ½" long - Handwoven with upcycled home textile fabrics on undyed cotton rug warp. This piece is ready for display with a hanging sleeve and mounting slat.
