GAYLE overtakes Adele at #1 with "abcdefu," while The Weeknd's "Sacrifice" debuts at #3

In just seven weeks on the chart, GAYLE's debut hit "abcdefu" has overtaken Adele's "Easy On Me," ending its previously-uninterrupted twelve-week run at the top of the Crown 100. GAYLE is the first artist to bring their debut Crown 100 entry to the top since Olivia Rodrigo did so with "drivers license" in 2021. "Easy On Me" now spends its first week in the top ten where it is not at #1, having marked an early debut at #54 after a partial week of availability before a leap to the top.

The Weeknd, who has one Crown 100 chart-topper to his name—the very first, in fact—with Daft Punk-featuring "Starboy," adds another ten entries this week thanks to the release of his new album, Dawn FM. Leading those is second single "Sacrifice," which drops in at #3. For now, his highest-charting single from the project remains "Take My Breath," which peaked at #2 last year and rebounds 44–17 this week. He has a second debut in the top twenty with "Less Than Zero" at #14, as well as his Swedish House Mafia collaboration, "Moth To A Flame," at #20 (down by six) this week.

Adele's own second single, "Oh My God" from 30, holds steady at #4, but with an increase of more than 60,000 points. Rounding out the top five, Taylor Swift's ten-minute version of "All Too Well" slides down by two.

Arriving to the top ten this week is "Dreams Come True" by aespa at #6, logging its fourth week on the Crown 100. It's now their song with the highest Crown 100 peak, surpassing "Savage," which made it to #9 toward the end of last year and falls out of the top twenty this week. Below at #7, Glass Animals continues their climb as "Heat Waves" rises two more spots to a new peak.

Six-week #1 "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish is steady at #8. Coming up at #9, Alesso and Katy Perry enter the top ten as "When I'm Gone" gains 12–9. It's Alesso's first appearance in the top ten of the Crown 100, but Perry's ninth, including four number-ones ("Chained To The Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, "Swish Swish" featuring Nicki Minaj, "Feels" by Calvin Harris also featuring Pharrell Williams and Big Sean, and "Never Really Over"). Once again putting a cap on the top ten, it's "STAY" by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, surpassing half a year on the chart.

K-pop group IVE look for a top-ten hit with their debut, "ELEVEN," which jumps to the position of the same name on this week's chart. Also possibly in contention soon is Encanto soundtrack standout "We Don't Talk About Bruno," which jumps from its #59 debut last week to #16. The soundtrack places a second entry, "Surface Pressure" by Jessica Darrow, at #87. SF9 has the week's greatest gainer at #18, as "Trauma" rockets up by 48. Korean rapper B.I also nabs a top-twenty with "COSMOS," up 7 to #19.

Further down the chart, NCT U sees strong chart action at #29 with "Universe (Let's Play Ball)," up by 40. Kep1er ("WA DA DA," 54–31) and MONSTA X ("Rush Hour," 73–46) also see double-digit moves upward into the upper half of the chart.
