In a record-breaking week, "Shape Of You" continues its run at #1
On this 15th Crown 100 chart, several records are broken. Ed Sheeran holds the top two spots with "Shape Of You" and "Castle On The Hill" for a second consecutive week following their debuts last week. The former is the first song ever to chart with more than 200,000 total points in a single week. This week also holds the most songs to exceed 100,000 points, with all of the top six songs passing the total. Finally, this week is the first time more than 100 Crownnote users have reported charts during a single week, with this week's total of 108 easily surpassing the previous record of 83 from two weeks ago.
"Shape Of You," as previously mentioned, holds at #1 while increasing its weekly point total by more than 90,000 points. It leads follow-up "Castle On The Hill" by more than 25,000 points, which itself has a wide 50,000-point lead over The Weeknd and Daft Punk's "Starboy," which rebounds to #3 after falling last week from the top to #4. Clean Bandit's "Rockabye," featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie, also rebounds 5-4, pushing The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk's "I Feel It Coming" to #5.
Alan Walker's "Alone" holds at #6 while adding more than 25,000 points to its weekly total. The Chainsmokers continue their Crown 100 presence with new single "Paris," featuring uncredited vocals by Emily Warren, which is easily the week's highest debut at #7. Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello are steady at #8. Bebe Rexha enters the top ten at #9 with "I Got You," and Little Mix returns at #10 with "Touch."
Zara Larsson's "I Would Like" looks like a promising future top ten, jumping 22–11 to a new peak this week. "You Don't Know Me" by Jax Jones featuring Raye also has upward momentum, up 13 to #16 in its third week on the chart.
At #27, Ariana Grande's next single "Everday," featuring Future, is the week's greatest gainer, moving up 45 positions this week. Beyoncé's latest Lemonade single "All Night" is also making big moves, up 40 to #57 after last week's debut.
Five other songs debut this week: Dua Lipa's "Be The One" enters at #54 following building success as a single in the UK; Halsey's Fifty Shades Darker contribution "Not Afraid Anymore" enters at #59; Ariana Grande's "Touch It" enters at #85 following its use (and her Dangerous Woman persona as a character) in the new Final Fantasy installment Brave Exvius; Troye Sivan's Betty Who-featuring "HEAVEN" debuts at #95 after its recent video premiere; and M.O's "Not In Love," featuring Kent Jones, slides in at #100. The week also sees re-entries by The 1975, The Vamps and Matoma, JP Cooper, James Arthur, Dara, The Weeknd featuring Kendrick Lamar, FRENSHIP and Emilly Warren, Sigma featuring Birdy, Lady Gaga, Tom Zanetti featuring Sadie Ama, and Saint Motel.
