Why is token usage in Codex increasing so quickly now?

Noticed the same problem. Earlier I couldn’t even use my 5h limit. And now I’m down to 42% of my weekly limit just after one 3-5 hour coding session. The amount of the code I work with haven’t increased, I’m using one of the simplest ‘5.5 gpt’ models with ‘medium’ effort.
