  "textContent": "On my Android phone I subscribed to the ChatGPT “5x Pro” plan through Google Play and paid $100. Later, from inside the ChatGPT app, I chose to upgrade my current plan to “20x Pro”. Instead of upgrading my existing subscription, the app created a second, separate subscription. So in the same month, on the same account, I now have two active ChatGPT Pro subscriptions and was charged twice ($100 + $200 = $300) instead of a single upgrade.\n\nI’d really appreciate the community’s help with two things:\n\n  1. How can I get a refund for the duplicate charge? (It was purchased through Google Play in-app billing.)\n  2. Why did the “upgrade” action create a duplicate subscription instead of upgrading the existing one? Is this a known issue with the in-app upgrade flow — on Google Play’s side or ChatGPT/OpenAI’s side? Thanks in advance!\n\n",
