"textContent": "I want to describe an issue I recently experienced after purchasing ChatGPT Pro and see whether anyone else has encountered something similar.\n\nI purchased ChatGPT Pro on June 29, 2026. My account page shows that I am on the ChatGPT Pro $100 tier, and I mainly use ChatGPT on the web. The issue is that shortly after I purchased Pro, the Pro/professional inquiry option already seemed to be limited. It did not feel like the limit was triggered after heavy usage.\n\nIn fact, I barely used the Pro model. After purchasing Pro, I only used the Pro option within a few hours to ask what model I was using. The responses repeatedly said the model was “GPT-5.3 mini,” not the Pro model I expected. I understand that a model’s self-reported name may not always be fully reliable, but this made me wonder whether my Pro requests were being routed to another model from the beginning instead of using the Pro model normally.\n\nLater, when I asked again, the model replied that it was “GPT-5.5 Pro.” Shortly after that, the system showed that my Pro model usage limit had been reached. The problem is that I had not used Pro for complex analysis, large files, spreadsheets, coding, long conversations, or heavy reasoning tasks. My usage was extremely limited and mainly involved asking what model I was using, so I do not understand why the Pro model limit was reached so quickly after purchase.\n\nI contacted OpenAI Support. They replied that I had reached the Pro model usage limit on the ChatGPT Pro $100 tier. They explained that Pro model limits are message-based and time-based, and that they reset on a rolling basis. They also said there is currently no known issue causing incorrect usage-limit tracking for my account and asked me to provide usage history from my account dashboard for comparison.\n\nHowever, my current issue is that I cannot find a dashboard that shows detailed ChatGPT Pro model usage, Pro message counts, or rolling-limit progress. I can only see subscription and billing information, but not detailed Pro model usage records. I have asked Support to clarify exactly where this usage history dashboard is located.\n\nMy main question is not whether Pro has limits. I understand that Pro is not unlimited and that some models or modes have separate usage allowances. My questions are:\n\n 1. Why did my Pro option seem to be limited almost immediately after I purchased Pro?\n 2. Why did I reach the Pro model limit after barely using it?\n 3. Why did the model repeatedly identify itself as “GPT-5.3 mini” when I was using the Pro option?\n 4. Could there be a model-routing issue, quota-tracking issue, UI display issue, account entitlement sync issue, or temporary restriction?\n 5. Is there a user-facing ChatGPT Pro usage history dashboard? If so, where exactly is it?\n\n\n\nI have exported my ChatGPT data and am willing to provide it to OpenAI Support for comparison. I have also authorized the support specialist to review my Pro model usage records and usage progress internally to investigate this issue.\n\nHas anyone else experienced something similar, especially being limited shortly after purchasing Pro or being routed to another model while using the Pro option? If so, how was it resolved?",
