"textContent": "I would like to share an idea about the future of education and the role that ChatGPT and advanced AI systems could play.\n\nAs a mechanical engineer, I have noticed that working with ChatGPT over an extended period has significantly improved my ability to learn, analyze problems, conduct research, and develop practical engineering solutions. In many cases, the learning experience is more personalized, interactive, and effective than traditional classroom education.\n\nThis observation leads me to a broader idea:\n\nIn the future, AI could become more than just a tool. It could become a complete educational platform capable of:\n\n * Creating personalized learning paths for each student.\n * Teaching theoretical concepts interactively.\n * Assigning projects and practical exercises.\n * Evaluating progress continuously.\n * Identifying knowledge gaps and adapting lessons accordingly.\n * Providing one-on-one mentorship at scale.\n\n\n\nToday, universities serve two major functions:\n\n 1. Education.\n 2. Certification.\n\n\n\nI believe AI systems are rapidly becoming capable of performing the educational function at a very high level. The remaining challenge is certification and validation of skills.\n\nA possible future model could be:\n\n * Students learn primarily through AI-guided education.\n * AI tracks their progress, projects, and competencies.\n * Independent examinations and practical assessments verify their abilities.\n * Graduates receive recognized certifications based on demonstrated skills rather than time spent in classrooms.\n\n\n\nSuch a system could make high-quality education available to anyone with internet access, regardless of location or financial resources.\n\nFor engineering disciplines in particular, AI-guided learning combined with real-world projects could produce graduates who are highly capable, practical, and continuously improving.\n\nI understand that replacing traditional universities entirely may not be realistic in the near future, especially for laboratory-intensive fields. However, I believe AI-assisted education and AI-supported certification could become a major part of the future educational ecosystem.\n\nI would be very interested to know whether OpenAI has considered long-term initiatives in this direction and how the company views the future relationship between AI, higher education, and professional certification.\n\nThank you for developing tools that are already helping many people learn faster and more effectively than ever before.",
