  "textContent": "ok, this is infuriating. apparently it has been fixed for some users (as seen in the locked related topics), but it continues to happen to some of us - specifically for Codex desktop auth. some Qs:\n\na) where did openai get a phone number for me that has been deactivated 5 years ago when i moved countries?\n\nb) how is it possible that with an account with: 1) a real, active phone number for SMS for MFA , 2) an authenticator MFA, 3) a password and 4) a passkey … i’m still forced to do OTP of a phone number they pulled out of their backsides? totally absurd. please fix this!\n\ncase number 10163459",
