Locked out of Codex because of an old phone number

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice or help escalating a Codex access issue.

Codex suddenly asks me to verify an old phone number that I no longer have access to. The same OpenAI account still logs into ChatGPT successfully, and it has an active Pro subscription.

I know OpenAI does not support changing the phone number directly, so I’m not asking for a normal phone-number change. I need help understanding how to recover Codex access or complete verification another secure way.

Has anyone experienced this Codex-specific verification issue, or can someone from OpenAI help route this to the right team?
