"textContent": "Subject: Feature Request: Persistent Mission Dashboard, Progress Tracking, and Long-Term Goal Management\nDear OpenAI Team,\nI would like to share feedback based on an intensive, long-term use case of ChatGPT.\nOver time, I have evolved ChatGPT from a conversational assistant into what I would describe as a personal operating system for leadership development, project management, long-term planning, decision support, and life architecture.\nWhile ChatGPT is already extremely powerful, I have encountered several limitations that become increasingly relevant when using it as a long-term mission and development platform rather than as a traditional chatbot.\nKey Areas for Improvement\n\n 1. Persistent Dashboards\nCurrently, dashboards and tracking systems must be recreated through conversation.\nA dedicated dashboard layer with persistent states would be extremely valuable.\nExamples:\nPersonal mission dashboards\nLeadership development dashboards\nLong-term project dashboards\nLife planning systems\n 2. Visual Progress Tracking\nText-based progress tracking is functional but limited.\nUseful additions would include:\nProgress bars\nCompletion indicators\nGoal trackers\nMilestone visualization\nProject status indicators\nThis would significantly improve motivation and usability.\n 3. Long-Term Goal Management\nMany users are now using ChatGPT for goals that span months or years.\nExamples:\nCareer development\nLeadership development\nEducation\nHealth\nFinancial goals\nA native system for managing:\nannual goals\nquarterly goals\nmonthly goals\nproject milestones\nwould be highly valuable.\n 4. Mission and Project Tracking\nI currently maintain a personal “Mission 36” system that includes:\ndaily reviews\nweekly reviews\nquarterly reviews\nproject prioritization\nmission-critical alerts\nprogress scoring\nMuch of this must currently be simulated through prompts and memory.\nA native project and mission tracking system would greatly enhance this use case.\n 5. Dashboard Widgets\nA widget-based dashboard system would be a major improvement.\nPotential widgets:\nProject Radar\nProgress Tracker\nMission Score\nGoal Progress\nReview Tracker\nHabit Tracker\nMilestone Tracker\nThis would allow users to build personalized operating systems inside ChatGPT.\n 6. Visual Gamification for Long-Term Development\nMany users are motivated by visible progress.\nExamples:\nLevels\nProgress bars\nAchievement milestones\nDevelopment paths\nGrowth maps\nThese features could be optional but would be very effective for long-term engagement.\nWhy This Matters\nI believe ChatGPT is evolving beyond being only a conversational AI.\nFor some users, it is becoming:\na strategic advisor\na leadership coach\na project management system\na personal knowledge base\na life operating system\nThe features above would significantly improve ChatGPT’s ability to support these advanced use cases.\nThank you for your work and for continuously improving the platform.\nKind regards,\nRon Städter\n\n",
