I understand the price/value point. I know OpenAI is trying to keep Codex running at this price. But that is not the core issue here. I am one of the most loyal OpenAI/Codex users. I have never used Anthropic models for my serious work because I chose to support OpenAI and Codex. My previous real-world experience was that my Pro quota felt roughly 10x higher than what I am getting now. If OpenAI changed the actual limits, I can accept that if it is clearly communicated. But this is the first time I have had such a terrible and unexplained experience with Codex, and I cannot accept paying for Pro while the quota accounting suddenly behaves like this with no clear explanation. I am not asking for infinite usage. I am asking for a real account-level investigation and a clear answer: Why does much lower usage now burn through my weekly limit much faster than much heavier usage before?
