  "textContent": "I’ve been facing a bug for a while now where any Codex task on GPT 5.4 and 5.5 drains credits like insanity. Just 2 simple tasks and the 5h credits are done. You could do about 20-40 tasks on 5.3-codex (which is now gone)\n\nThis is specifically on the ChatGPT Business seats.\n\nI have, in fact, compared this with the pro 5x and pro 20x for personal use. They do not seem to be having this credit-drain problem.\n\nThe exact same tasks with the exact same codebase…\n\n2 tasks in (5h limit remaining):\nBusiness on 5.5 medium: 0%\nBusiness on 5.3-codex high: 82%\nPro 5x on 5.5 very high, fast: 98%\nPro 20x on 5.5 very high fast: 5h limit not down at all, still at 100%\n\nWait 5 hours, go on with another few tasks:\nBusiness: 0%\nBusiness on 5.3: 60%\nPro 5x: 4 tasks in, 5h limit down to 92%\nPro 20x: 4 tasks in, 5h limit down to 97%\n\n* * *\n\nIn other words, you can quite clearly see how the business is now absolutely unusable and something must be wrong with it.\nIt can literally not be, that there isn’t something wrong with it. There HAS to be something wrong with it.\nI’ve been quite patient with this, but it’s been like this since 5.5 released. Even the update itself, consistently asking to upgrade to 5.5, stated it’s **more efficient with your credits** , but it’s a literal drain.\n\nHonestly, my yearly is almost up. If this doesn’t get fixed, I’m canceling it business-wide. It’s no use anymore, especially now that 5.3-codex has been removed. Employees can only do 2 tasks every 5 hours with it. It’s useless.",
