Codex sign-in asks for phone verification on paid account

What is shitty company open ai , it can not solve a simple issue of login in codex , I am getting error as “This phone number is already linked to the maximum number of accounts.” but no option where to unlink and from which account , I am premium user and wanted to extend my membership but seeing this issue, I am moving with claude code . really frustrating and this issue is from last 3 years in different forum but they don’t want to solve …
