"textContent": "Hi everyone,\n\nI’m experiencing a billing issue that I haven’t been able to resolve through the dashboard.\n\n**The problem:**\nI have several granted credits with “Available” status (totaling around $15, all expiring Oct 31, 2026), but my credit balance has gone negative (-$17.13). It seems the API usage is being charged against my purchased credits instead of consuming the granted credits first.\n\n**Expected behavior:**\nGranted credits should be consumed before (or alongside) purchased credits, preventing the balance from going negative while grants are still available.\n\n**What I’ve tried:**\n\n * Reviewed the billing dashboard (Credit Grants section)\n * All grants show as “Available” — none are expired or exhausted\n * Auto recharge is currently off\n\n\n\n**Screenshots:**\nI have screenshots of both the Overview (showing -$17.13 balance) and the Credit Grants tab (showing available grants) that I can share.\n\nHas anyone else experienced this? Is there a known priority order between grant types and purchased credits?\n\nIf anyone from OpenAI support is reading this — is there a way to apply the available grants to clear the negative balance?\n\nThank you!",
