"textContent": "would like to suggest a Conversation Library feature for ChatGPT users who have accumulated many chats over time.\n\nAfter using ChatGPT seriously for long-term writing, research, and project development, I now have hundreds of conversation threads. The current sidebar is not sufficient for managing that volume. Archived chats are useful, but there is no easy way to see a complete inventory of existing chats, sort them, tag them, or decide what should be kept, archived, exported, or deleted.\n\nA useful Conversation Library could include:\n\n * Total number of chats\n\n * List of all chat titles\n\n * Date created and date last updated\n\n * Active / archived status\n\n * Message count or approximate length\n\n * Search and filter across all chats\n\n * User-created tags or folders\n\n * Bulk archive / delete / export\n\n * Option to export selected conversations\n\n * Ability to sort by title, date, project, or activity\n\n\n\n\nThis would be especially valuable for users who treat ChatGPT as a long-term workspace rather than a disposable chat tool. Writers, researchers, students, professionals, and project-based users need a better way to manage accumulated conversations.\n\nIn short: ChatGPT needs an inventory ledger, not just a sidebar.\n\nSGC",
