Annotation Multi Select Not Working

just an update. So it seems that maybe Shift plus clicking did work one on annotation level ( i still dont know if its correct or if i am hallucinating from jumping between codex and cursor so much ahah). but the solution for doing what I wanted to do in Codex does exist but doing Cmd+enter (on mac). So, solved more or less.
