Make macOS Codex show again the Codex mobile popup

This is what you should see(as you already probably know, just showing):

Since you already tried the desktop-side steps, I’d next try updating the ChatGPT mobile app , then signing out and back in on mobile.

If it still does not show the setup/connection flow after that, this may be a stuck pairing state rather than a normal setup issue.

In that case, it may be worth reporting to Support or adding details to the existing OpenAI/codex GitHub issue if there is a matching one. If there isn’t, opening a new issue there may help.
