Gpt-image-1-mini images are completely wrong

I’m experiencing the same issue now in may 2026 with the same model. Calls to /edits with several input images return bad images on about 95% of results. I have a support ticket with openai about this. It’s a shame the budget model can’t use /edits endpoint.
