"textContent": "Feature request:\n\nPlease add an accessibility setting to the ChatGPT mobile app:\n\nAuto-read assistant responses: On/Off\n\nWhen enabled, ChatGPT should automatically read only the newest assistant response aloud after generation finishes, using either the built-in ChatGPT voice or the iPhone system text-to-speech voice.\n\nNeeded options:\n\n * Read only the newest assistant message, not the whole screen\n\n * Use system text-to-speech to avoid extra server voice costs\n\n * Large persistent play/pause button\n\n * Stop reading when the user starts dictating or typing\n\n * Keep the user in the same chat thread\n\n * Do not require VoiceOver, Speak Screen, copying text, or API billing\n\n\n\n\nThis is an accessibility need, not a premium voice feature. Users with visual strain, driving constraints, mobility issues, ADHD, or reading difficulty need spoken readback without losing chat context or paying separately for API access.",
