"textContent": "Title: Unable to Reduce ChatGPT Business Seats Back to 2 (Stuck at 3 Seats)\n\nI’m experiencing a billing/seat management issue with ChatGPT Business.\n\nCurrent situation:\n\n * Workspace currently has only 1 active user (myself)\n\n * No pending invites\n\n * No extra active members attached\n\n\n\n\nHowever, the billing page is still locked at 3 seats.\n\nProblem details:\n\n * The minus button is disabled/grayed out\n\n * If I manually change the seat count from 3 to 2, it automatically snaps back to 3\n\n * The issue persists across browsers/devices\n\n * I already waited before the billing cycle cutoff window\n\n\n\n\nThis appears to be a baseline seat synchronization or backend migration issue after the Team → Business transition.\n\nBecause of this issue, I was charged for an additional seat that I could not remove myself.\n\nI would like to request:\n\n 1. Manual reset of the baseline seat count back to 2\n\n 2. Refund or billing credit for the unintended extra seat charges\n\n\n\n\nAlso, could someone clarify the correct process for reducing seats in ChatGPT Business?\n\n * Is the seat count supposed to decrease automatically at the next billing cycle?\n\n * Does the workspace need to have exactly 2 active users before renewal?\n\n * Is there any way to manually reset or release the locked baseline?\n\n\n\n\nHas anyone else recently managed to successfully reduce seats from 3 back to 2?",
