"textContent": "Hi folks,\n\nI am experiencing the same issue described here regarding older long conversations becoming inaccessible.\n\nWhen attempting to open older conversations that previously reached the conversation length limit, I either receive a blank page or am redirected to a new chat with the message:\n\n**“This conversation is too long, please start a new one.”**\n\nI am not attempting to continue these conversations—I only wish to access them in a read-only capacity as historical records, including for the creation of offline personal reference documents.\n\nSome of these conversations contain extensive personal history, important project work, and long-term reference material, so losing access to them is extremely concerning.\n\nI am also experiencing a second issue that may or may not be related.\n\nWhen ChatGPT generates downloadable documents for me (such as DOCX files), the download sometimes fails with the red error:\n\n**“Failed to get upload status for /mnt/data/[filename].docx”**\n\nWhen this happens, the file cannot be downloaded at all.\n\nTroubleshooting already attempted:\n\n * browser refresh / hard refresh\n\n * retrying later\n\n * repeated attempts in the same session\n\n * prior troubleshooting with ChatGPT assistance\n\n\n\n\nEnvironment:\n\n * ChatGPT web interface\n\n * Windows 10\n\n * Chrome browser\n\n * ChatGPT Plus subscription\n\n\n\n\nAt the moment, I am dealing with:\n\n 1. inaccessible historical conversations\n\n 2. failed document downloads\n\n\n\n\nCan someone please confirm whether these are known issues?\n\nMany thanks,\n\nSteve",
