"textContent": "I’m seeing a related issue on ChatGPT for macOS 1.2026.118.\n\nIn my case, the problem is not that text zoom never works. The issue is that the message/content area does not correctly keep or restore the custom text size.\n\nCurrent behavior:\n\n * When I open the app, the chat message text is small/default-sized.\n * The input box/composer text is already using my custom enlarged text size correctly.\n * If I press Command + directly, the message area does not always behave as expected.\n * However, if I first press Command 0 to force the view back to default, then press Command + again, the message text can be enlarged correctly.\n * The problem comes back when I switch to another conversation. After switching conversations, the message/content area resets to the small/default text size again.\n * The input box still keeps the custom enlarged text size.\n\n\n\nSo it looks like the zoom/font-size state is being applied inconsistently:\n\n * The composer/input box preserves the custom text size.\n * The chat message/content area loses it when opening the app or switching conversations.\n * Command 0 followed by Command + can temporarily fix it, but the fix is not persistent.\n\n\n\nEnvironment:\n\n * ChatGPT for macOS: 1.2026.118\n * Device: MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Pro\n * Memory: 16 GB\n * macOS: Tahoe 26.5\n\n\n\nExpected behavior:\nThe message/content area and the input box should both respect the same user-defined text size, and the setting should persist after opening the app or switching conversations.",
