And your understanding seems valid. I did the actual Codex run on my computer. My phone is logged into the same ChatGPT account, so I can view the same Codex project/session from the ChatGPT app on my phone. (Easier for me) So I don’t think this means the .codex directory is physically present on the iPhone. It means the Codex project/results are visible cross-device through the account UI.
