"textContent": "THE SAME QUESTION\n\nIT’S SOOOOOOOO ANNOYING.\n\nThis is one of the most irresponsible frontend changes I’ve ever seen from a major product team.\n\nThe server still returns all branch data. Search still indexes those messages. openai’s frontend simply hides the navigation UI through feature flags like `hide_pagination: true`, making users believe their conversation history is gone.\n\nPeople are using ChatGPT as a long-term thinking workspace, not a disposable toy chat app. Silently breaking branch navigation without clear migration, compatibility, or recovery mechanisms is unbelievably reckless.\n\nOpenai are actively destroying user trust in data continuity and conversation reliability. This is not “clean UI design”. This is a catastrophic UX decision.",
