  "textContent": "Agreed - it’s the same reason I don’t use X - the white on black text really messes with my eyes, after half an hour of reading (sometimes less) I have to go take a nap, all I see are lines.\nThis is a well known issue with high contrast text, and only a NEWB UI “expert” would think it was a good idea.\n\nIf they want to add a “poke your eyeballs with a fork” dark mode theme then go for it. But don’t take away the one that has been working fine for so long.\n\nEDIT: Until they change it back I will not be using ChatGPT - Claude still has a UI made by experts in the field. Even DeepSeek’s UI is better. Which is a pity, ChatGPT was my favorite.",
