ChatGPT is getting WORSE every single day — and the login walls are getting ridiculous

I’m genuinely frustrated and I know many of you are too. Instead of improving, ChatGPT feels like it’s degrading week after week. Responses are becoming more generic, dumber, lazier, and heavily censored. What used to be sharp and useful is now watered-down and unreliable. This isn’t “progress” — this is clear regression while they focus on everything except making the core product better. But the user experience is even more painful now: Logging in with Gmail has become a nightmare. It’s no longer simple — it throws multiple hurdles, verifications, and loops that waste everyone’s time. Want to use Codex? Good luck. They now force a phone number verification. This wasn’t there before and it’s an unnecessary privacy-invasive barrier. OpenAI, you’re making it harder for legitimate users to even access your tools while claiming to be building the future. This isn’t how you build trust or loyalty. If you’re experiencing the same degradation in quality + these annoying login walls, please reply and upvote so this doesn’t get buried.
