  "textContent": "  * I’m reporting a UI/interaction bug in the Codex desktop app.\n\n## Environment\n\n    * Platform: Windows desktop app\n    * Product: Codex / ChatGPT Codex experience\n    * UI language: Romanian\n    * Model selected: GPT-5.5\n    * Intelligence levels shown in the UI:\n      * Nivel scăzut\n      * Nivel mediu\n      * Nivel ridicat\n      * Foarte ridicat\n    * My weekly GPT-5.5 / Thinking usage is currently low, around 10% remaining.\n\n## Issue\n\nAfter selecting or changing the GPT-5.5 intelligence level, the microphone/dictation button in the message box does not activate reliably.\n\nAt first, the issue seemed to happen mostly with the intermediate intelligence levels:\n\nMedium level\n\n  * High level\n\nNow it appears to happen across all intelligence levels, including:\n\nLow level\n\n  * Medium level\n\n  * High level\n\n  * Very high level\n\nIn some cases, dictation only starts after clicking twice. There is no clear “usage limit reached” message, warning, or banner.\n\n## Steps to reproduce\n\n    1. Open the Codex desktop app on Windows.\n    2. Open the model/intelligence selector.\n    3. Select GPT-5.5.\n    4. Change the intelligence level to any available option.\n    5. Try to use the microphone/dictation button in the message box.\n\n## Actual result\n\nThe microphone/dictation button does not reliably activate after the first click. Sometimes dictation starts only after a second click.\n\n## Expected result\n\nChanging the intelligence level should apply normally after one click, and the microphone/dictation button should remain available and activate normally after one click.\n\nIf this behavior is caused by weekly GPT-5.5 / Thinking usage limits, ChatGPT voice limits, or Codex-specific dictation limits, the UI should show a clear message explaining that.\n\n## Question\n\nCould this be related to usage-limit state handling in the Codex desktop app, or is microphone dictation/transcription supposed to be independent from GPT-5.5 / Thinking usage limits?\n\n\n",
