"textContent": "Today ChatGPT allows “Move to new chat”, but not moving a message/thread into an existing specialized chat.\n\nThis becomes a major UX issue for long-running technical/project workflows where users maintain dedicated chats (Odoo, infra, governance, APIs, etc.). Users frequently ask a question in the wrong chat by mistake.\n\nProposed feature:\nIn the message ⋯ menu:\n\n * Move to new chat\n\n * Relocalize into existing chat\n\n\n\n\nThen:\n\n * choose target chat\n\n * optionally move only the message or the full branch/replies\n\n * preserve context/history links\n\n\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n * cleaner project organization\n\n * better long-term AI context quality\n\n * less copy/paste duplication\n\n * better power-user workflows\n\n * improved memory coherence for large technical projects\n\n\n",
