Here’s a screenshot of the missing functionality from another thread here from 2025 (with no replies):\n\nI am on Mac, and was able to see the same until recently (about a week or two ago). After any prompt that changed code, it would appear at the bottom of the chat, above the text area. The expand button would expand a small but useful diff of just the changes made due to the last prompt (not a full diff from last commit).\n\nHonestly feel a little crazy that this isn’t a hot topic. I used that Undo button fairly often when Codex went a bit too far. I can’t imagine I’m the only one that wove that little bit of UI heavily into their workflow..? Am I holding it wrong?",
