This is the email reply I got from the Support team. Again, unbelievable! > Hello, > > Thank you for contacting OpenAI Support. > > I understand your concern regarding the expired API credits and the impact this has had, especially given the amount involved. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. > > OpenAI prepaid API credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. This expiration policy is outlined in our documentation, and at this time, we do not send proactive notifications before credits expire. Additionally, credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law. Unfortunately, we’re unable to restore or extend expired credits, as detailed in our Service Credit Terms: LINK > > That said, we truly value your feedback regarding notification improvements and policy clarity, and I’ll make sure this is shared with the appropriate team. > > You can review your API billing details and remaining balance anytime here: LINK > > If you have any inquiries or need further clarification at any step, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help. > > Regards, > > NAME > > OpenAI Support Team
