  "textContent": "That’s surprising!\n\nYou’re saying the intended behaviour is that if I don’t know where my users are, and so don’t provide location details with the web search tool, that OpenAI will _assume_ that my users are in the USA?\n\nI’d say that’s quite a bad assumption to make.\n\nYour response focused on the case where I _do_ know my user’s location, or can approximate it. I understand that if that were the case, then I should provide that info.\n\nBut that’s not the scenario I’m describing. I’m talking about the case where I DO NOT know where my users are, and that OpenAI make the assumption that this means my users are in the USA.",
