Why is ChatGPT Pro temporarily limited on my account?

For me, the Codex app does not show the Pro version to select; the rate limit I am getting is on web chat. I am not able to select the Pro model. This is frustrating. I purchased it on 25th April and not even used it for a few hours before I started getting this error. Till now it has not been resolved. Wrote email to OpenAI; they asked to log out all sessions and clear cache, etc. Nothing worked. If this is how it works, I feel like trusting them is not worth it anymore; I would go and cancel the subscription. Not sure about others.
