In-app Image Gen 2 will generate PNG files with RGBA data, what you’re seeing in @windysoliloquy’s image, but the RGBA data is in a structure that gets flattened/containerized when rendered on HTML or JS surfaces. If you have enough of those PNG images with RGBA and use iMessages, text yourself enough of the images to get them to stack, and you’ll see which ones have the proper full transparency data and which ones don’t.
