For published apps, widget templates are part of the reviewed app version, so updating the widget/template URI requires creating a new app version and submitting it for review. Developers should keep the currently approved widget URI live until the new version is approved and published.\n\nWe’ll update the Apps SDK docs to make this distinction explicit and reduce the confusion between dev-mode cache busting and published-app versioning.",
