The Batch API Decided to Make Hundreds of Requests That I Didn't Request. What's Up?

Time of creation was Apr 15, 2026, 11:06 AM MST Apr 15, 2026, 6:06 PM UTC

It looks like the usage approximation has been updated such that I am now shown owing hundreds of dollars, but I am still shown owing more than I am supposed to given that the batch gave no output file, only an error file.
