What automatically consumes Codex usage without doing anything?

do you see anything above the place where you prompt with a tiny stop button next to it? end process, then force the background process to stop if nothing else… your prompt space would look like this if it’s not running a task. if it is, there’s a little line above the prompt with a stop button on the right.
