[Feature Request] Dynamic Project Sources via Open-Source Connectors

Hello everyone,
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the Project mode in ChatGPT that could significantly enhance how it interacts with evolving knowledge sources. It would be extremely useful if Projects could integrate with third-party connectors, ideally open-source, inspired by approaches similar to OpenCLAW. The goal would be to make project data sources dynamic rather than static.
For example, if a project relies on a knowledge base stored in Notion, ChatGPT could be connected directly to it and continuously stay in sync. As the knowledge base is updated over time, those changes would automatically be reflected inside the project context, allowing ChatGPT to better understand what has already been done, what has changed, and what remains to be addressed. This would make responses far more relevant and reduce the need to repeatedly reintroduce context.
Extending this capability to other platforms like Google Drive and similar knowledge management systems would make Projects much more powerful and adaptable to real-world workflows. The key idea is to allow ChatGPT to follow the evolution of a project’s source of truth, rather than relying on snapshots that quickly become outdated.
This kind of dynamic integration would make ChatGPT a much more effective collaborator, especially for ongoing or complex projects where information is constantly evolving.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion.
Best regards,
SAM
