Add “Favorite / Bookmark Answer” Feature with Side Panel

Description: Introduce the ability for users to mark specific ChatGPT responses as favorites and access them quickly from a dedicated side panel. This would help users easily return to important answers within long conversations.

Problem: In longer chats, useful responses (such as explanations, code snippets, or instructions) become difficult to locate because users must scroll through the entire conversation. There is currently no way to highlight or quickly navigate to important responses.

Proposed Solution: Add a Favorite / Bookmark icon () to each assistant response. When selected, the response is added to a Favorites sidebar panel on the right side of the interface.

Suggested UI Behavior:

• Favorite icon on every assistant response

• Clicking the icon saves the response as a favorite

• A right-side panel/tab labeled “Favorites” lists all bookmarked responses in the current chat

• Clicking an item in the panel jumps directly to that message in the conversation

Optional Enhancements:

• Ability to favorite user messages as well

• Cross-chat favorites (global saved answers)

• Search within favorites

• Ability to add short labels or notes to saved responses

• Faster navigation in long conversations

• Improved productivity for users referencing earlier responses

• Better organization of important information generated during sessions

• Reduced time spent scrolling through chat history
