This behavior should be documented more clearly.\n\nThanks for raising this issue.\n\nI suppose the solution is that if the image is in memory either:\n\n  * send it as a multipart file part (io.BytesIO with a filename), or\n  * upload it first and pass the file_id in JSON.\n\n",
