Codex CLI is useful way beyond the Coding Use Case

Hi all!
I think there is a huge amount of unused potential in Codex CLI and similar tools to apply them for other use cases beyond coding. We’re currently seeing a wave of products in that space pop up, like Claude Cowork, Perplexity Computer, OpenClaw, …
But still I think, some features are missing, that would make the CLIs even more powerful:
* The CLI tools have to be able to run on the cloud so that you can send a task, close your laptop and your agents will still run
* The agents need to have persistent workspaces on the cloud, so that you can send them files and they can send you files back
* Agents need to be highly customizable, including all parts of prompting + it needs to be very easy to add skills to the persistent cloud environments –> they need to be able to work with any application
* You have to have a strong API, that lets you build & deploy agents, orchestrate & schedule tasks, manage skills, etc.
I think, if you put all of this together, you reach the full potential of the Agent CLI tools. That’s why I built computer agents (https://computer-agents.com). It comes with web, iOS, iPadOS & macOS Apps & strong APIs and SDKs for Python & TypeScriptt ( Documentation | Computer Agents Docs ). Currently I’m still struggling to get people to try it out and give me feedback, so I’m very thankful to anyone who gives it a try and tell me what they think. I’ll respond to all feedback.
Thank you very much in advance and greetings from Thailand!
