Migrating from Plus to Team: All conversations lost

@duckworth: I just experienced the same during the migration from Plus to Business (formerly Teams) - only ancient chats were migrated, all chats from the last several months were just deleted / not taken over.

As you describe, the support was not willing or able to help or to escalate this misbehaviour - I got the same useless questions and the support kept repeating that “very old chats” may be deleted during migration (which is actually documented somewhere deep in the documentation), which however does not match my case at all - in my case, all recent chats were lost (recent meaning from the last six months or so), while older chats were migrated just fine…

Unfortunately, there’s no big fat warning before the migration starts that there’s a relevant likelyhood that most relevant data will just not be migrated at all…
