Xander Boulard is a nineteen year old queer and Metis musician born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba - Treaty 1 Territory. He is an artist who strives for authenticity in his work, leaving little for himself in the name of honest story telling. Tender and to the point, he’s been described as a bold and confident songwriter who knows exactly what he wants to say, and how to say it. Following in the footsteps of other great writers before him, Xander draws inspiration from his own life experiences through hardships and heartbreak, to his perspectives on real world issues and topics heavy on his mind. It is through poetic license that Xander believes you can overcome anything life has in store for you, that you can alchemize your pain into something beautiful and maybe even inspire someone else while doing so.
