The 444th Brigade attempted to suppress the protest using live fire, but failed to quickly disperse the rioters.\n  * United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) head Hanna Tetteh held meetings with Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar and LNA Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar in Benghazi. Tetteh reportedly briefed Haftar on the current efforts of the Structured Dialogue and the 4+4 Committee talks, as she continues to try and build momentum for the UNSMIL’s political process.\n  * The LNA hosted a large-scale military exercise in eastern Libya called “Operation Dignity Shield 2” reportedly involving 25,000 soldiers.
