Introducing BYOA for Tweets-2-Bsky

Starting today, you can now bring your own Account for Tweets-2-bsky, letting you stay in control of your bot while we do the rest.

By default, when you request an account to be mirrored, that account is hosted on our PDS, where our admins have access to it via an app password.

You can now choose to bring your own account, where you give us your handle and app password, while you’re still in control of the account, giving you the power to like posts, repost, make replies, and do basically anything on the AT Protocol.

We highly recommend this option if you’re mirroring your personal X account.

Our goal with tweets-2-bsky is to make mirroring an X account to Bluesky easy and highly available to everyone.
